As being guide for 15 years,most of the time I asked my clients how they decide to make a trip to Turkey? Covering an area about 753,562 sq km(slightly larger than Texas),it is 38th largest country in the world located between Europe and Asia.This special location has always drawn attention of great empires in the world.From Hittites to Ancient Greeks,Persians,Romans,Byzantiums and Ottomans made their own effect on Turkish culture.For that reason,Turkey is neither European nor Asian, it has its own culture,religion and language.

While visiting Turkey,people always amaze at the country’s history,culture and hospitality of Turkish people when they realize that the country is totaly different than what they expect to see before they come.

But the difficult thing is to break prejudices of people before they visit.Although perception of the country is negative by most of the world,Turkey is becoming more popular destination for people.

Turkey has a lot of opportunities for foreign travelers to do.Other than visiting museums and ancient sites,Turkey offers visitors to make trekking,diving,biking … etc.
